Short Vowels in Arabic Alphabet
The short vowels in Arabic alphabet are omitted by Arabic users. The readers of Arabic language must have the perfect knowledge of the language so that the missing vowels may be supplied. Usually, in all the learning classes of Arabic grammar, these vowels are mentioned as it important for people to learn it. If the vowel is changed, then it will have the completely different meaning. As the whole Quran is in Arabic alphabet, hence, it is important to learn the basic signs of vowels and other signs.
Short vowels
In the Arabic handwriting, on the signs in normal streets and in publications, the short vowels are normally not written. However, in the Quran, the Quran copies cannot be endorsed without diacritics by the institute of religions who are going to review. The books for children, the elementary school texts and the books of the Arabic grammars will necessarily include these short vowels of Arabic Alphabet.
Short vowels are normally written with diacritics which are placed below or above the consonant that would be before the syllable alphabet which are called harakat. All of the Arabic vowels whether short or long will follow consonant. In Alaphbets of Arabic, letters like Ali or Alif will start with consonant like “Aliyy, Alif”.
